The Sober Eating® Sequence
It’s not another diet. It’s not intuitive eating.
It’s a science-backed rewiring and life changing identity and lifestyle upgrade that stops you from being the woman that runs to food when you’re stressed, bored, or upset—and evolves you into the woman who’s clothes fit perfectly, eats without mentally tracking every bite and second guessing yourself.

Meet Alana Kessler, MS, RD, E-RYT
For over 20 years, I’ve worked with women who feel trapped in the same cycle—eat clean, lose weight, slip up, spiral, and start over again. I know the exhaustion of pouring energy into diets, detoxes, and quick fixes that never last—because I lived it. I spent years in secrecy with food until I created the method that finally freed me. I lost 40 pounds, kept it off, and rebuilt a relationship with food and my body that still holds strong today.
My work blends advanced training in nutrition, functional medicine, yoga, and Ayurveda with deep knowledge of the nervous system and identity change. But what makes it powerful is that it’s not just theory—it’s lived experience.
I know exactly what it feels like to make a trip to the grocery store at night for ice cream, to obsess over every calorie, to fear vacations or social events, and to stand in front of the mirror wondering if clothes will ever fit the way you want. Or if food will always feel like the thing running your life. I also know what it takes to undo those patterns —to quiet the constant food drama, to watch the weight finally come off without the fear of it rushing back, and to rebuild the kind of self belief and trust with your body that makes you feel calm, confident, and free.
If you’re ready to stop wasting years on what doesn’t work, and instead get the proven process that creates lasting change, I’d be honored to guide you.
Why SOBER EATING SEQUENCE™ Works When Everything Else Didn’t
You don’t need more rules. You need a regulated nervous system that no longer turns to food for safety, relief, or control.

I Get It—Because I’ve Been There.
I created The Sober Eating Sequence —because I had to find a way out, and I know you’re ready for one too.
Don’t Take Our Word For It, Take Theirs

“I lost more weight than I even thought I could working with Alana and I'm a new person.”
I still blink sometimes and wonder, is this real life? After 20 years single, I found love—or it found me. Healing my relationship with food helped me lose weight, but more importantly, it removed the buffer that kept me from true love and meaningful connections. After a year of working with Alana, I got married at 43, and my whole life changed. Once the food and weight struggle lifted, a whole new world opened up.

“I’ve lost weight, but more importantly, I feel free.”
When I started working with Alana, I had nearly a lifetime of emotional and disordered eating and honestly didn’t believe I could ever heal. I knew I couldn’t do one more diet or program—I needed to go deeper. From the very beginning, she removed the shame around wanting weight loss while guiding me to truly heal from emotional eating. With her compassion and tools, I made changes I never thought possible. Now food feels neutral, not charged, and I no longer feel the urge to clean my plate.
What if food no longer ran your life?

“Lately I've been noticing differences in how my body feels.”
“Just wanted to say l'm forever grateful to Alana and her infinite wisdom. Lately I've been noticing differences in how my body feels so figured I would post this comparison from October '24 to today. The most amazing thing about the difference between these two photos is that the changes came from a place of healing and love. It's been a challenging and beautiful journey and forever grateful for the mental peace I have now. I'm quick to discredit my wins and trying to get better about that. But have to say I'm proud of the healing I've done and will continue to do.”

Your SOBER EATING
SEQUENCE™ Journey
Phase 1: Release + Reset
Break free from emotional eating and reclaim control.
✺
If you’ve ever promised yourself “just one handful” and ended up finishing the bag, or said “I’ll start tomorrow” as regret set in after another binge, you know what it feels like to live in a body wired for urgency. In Phase 1: Release + Reset, you’ll finally break free from that cycle.
This phase helps you interrupt the binge–diet loop, calm your nervous system, and feel safe without relying on food as your coping mechanism. As the urgency softens and cravings quiet, you create the space for clarity, confidence, and self-trust to grow. You’ll begin to understand that emotional eating is not a personal weakness but a nervous system response, and you’ll gain practical tools to soothe cravings and reduce stress in real time.
By the end of this phase, you may notice a relief you haven’t felt in years—leaving food on your plate because you’re satisfied, falling asleep without needing “just one more snack,” and realizing that the grip food once had over you is finally disappearing. This is where your freedom begins.
Phase 2: Reprogram
Redefine your relationship with food and build trust
✺
If you’ve ever eaten “clean” all day only to overeat at night, or wondered why one small “bad” choice can send you into a full spiral, you know what it feels like to live in a body that doesn’t fully trust you yet. Phase 2: Reprogram is where that begins to shift. With your nervous system calmer and your self-belief stronger, you’ll learn how to eat without rigid rules, create meals that actually satisfy you, and finally dissolve the perfectionism and old patterns that made food feel like a battleground.
In this phase, you’ll start recognizing how people-pleasing and perfectionism sneak into your eating habits and how to break free from them. You’ll learn to spot and soften emotional triggers before they send you back to food, and to express your emotions without needing to eat them. Most importantly, you’ll discover how to build a flexible, nourishing way of eating based on foods you love—no more swinging between restriction and chaos.
By the end of Phase 2, eating will feel natural and stress-free. You’ll order fries without guilt and stop when you’re satisfied, enjoy brunch with friends and leave the table comfortable instead of stuffed, and notice food finally slipping out of the spotlight—just one part of your life, not the center of it.
Phase 3: Integration
Stay resilient, confident, and free—no matter what
✺
If you’ve ever felt like you can stay on track until you travel, your routine changes, or life gets stressful—and then everything you worked so hard for slips away—you know how easy it is to fall back into old patterns when life gets messy. Phase 3: Integration is where that cycle finally ends.
In this phase, you’ll strengthen your new identity and learn how to hold steady when challenges arise, so setbacks don’t spiral and stress doesn’t erase your progress. Instead of shrinking under pressure, you’ll expand with clarity, calm, and resilience. You’ll discover how to keep your rhythm even when travel or change disrupts your routine, how to prevent small slip-ups from snowballing into sabotage, and how to create space for joy, ambition, and connection without turning to food. You’ll also learn to set compassionate boundaries that protect your energy and goals, giving you the freedom to live fully without fear of backsliding.
By the end of Phase 3, you’ll navigate vacations, holidays, and social events with ease, enjoy food without guilt, and feel grounded in a confidence no diet could ever give you. This is the moment where food takes its rightful place—and you step into the freedom of leading your life with calm authority.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I’ve already done therapy, coaching, or somatic work?
That’s perfect. This builds on all of it—but goes deeper by addressing the emotional operating system and identity gaps behind your eating. You don’t need more information. You need to rewire the patterns that still pull you back into spirals. That’s exactly what this work does.
How is this different from intuitive eating or mindset work?
Intuitive eating assumes your body can hear its hunger signals. But when your nervous system is dysregulated, it can’t. Mindset work helps for a while, but it doesn’t rewire the emotional triggers that live in your body. This method works from the inside out—using neuroscience, somatic tools, and identity-level rewiring so change actually lasts.
Do I need to join a group or community to participate?
No. My programs are designed for the woman who values privacy. There are no group calls or mandatory public forums . Your healing is intimate, discreet, and fully supported without exposure.
How long will I have access to the materials?
You’ll have lifetime access to The Sober Eating Sequence™ and the full 3-phase framework, including all future updates and refinements.
Will this work if I’m on GLP-1s?
Yes. GLP-1s may quiet your appetite, but they don’t heal the emotional patterns that drive overeating. That’s why women often gain the weight back when they stop. This work addresses what the medication can’t—so your results last, with or without it.
